I purchased a 6.5ft white fiber optic tree 4 years ago. I noticed last year upon setting the tree up that some of the branches had started turning a yellowish-brown color. And now this year to my horror as I opened the box (which is also the same box it was purchased in at Lowe's) I noticed that even more of the tree branches had this yucky color then the year before. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the instructions that came with it to see if there are any cleaning methods that might help. I have searched several times on the internet for some idea of what to do, but unfortunately the only solution the net offers is sites for me to purchase a new tree. I spent over $250 dollars on this tree. And find it unreasonable to buy a new tree only 4 years later. I went into Lowe's a few days ago to speak to a salesman about the situation, but was told that unfortunately they apparently did not carry this item or any item close to it. And according to the sales associate they had not carried anything of this kind in the last three years. Can anyone please help me???
We have a fiber optic Christmas tree and really like the convenience of using it.I was working in Hullen mall in Fort Worth doing a remodel job. While cleaning out what was a Christmas store I found this tree that was left behind. Nice find.
I'm having the same problem and I can't find anything on YouTube to try to resolve it if you find an answer please let me know thanks Lisa
